Full access to the print service was restored by 16.45 on 19th September and included a backup set of print queues which incorporate a series of numbers.

If you're still unable to print, please restart your computer and try again.

Please also be aware of the changes associated with the Print Refresh Programme and the requirement to manually setup print queues if using an Apple or Linux device or connecting directly to a desktop phaser.

A workaround has been applied which means that when you request a print, the new print queues ('Mono/Booklet/Colour/Draft on UoN Print') should be displayed as well as a backup set of print queues with the queue name Mono/Booklet/Colour/Draft followed by 'on nn.nnn.nnn.nn' (where n is a number).

If the new print queue fails to deliver a print request to a printing device, please use the backup print queue that includes the series of numbers.

If the print queues as described above are not displayed, please restart your computer.

If a restart fails to display the print queues and your computer runs an Apple or Linux operating system, please re-install the queues using the guides found at https://workspace.nottingham.ac.uk/display/ISSKB/Printing

Work is underway to resolve the issue that's preventing access to the new print queues. Please continue to use the mobile print service in the meantime

Please be aware that the delay in the delivery of print requests via the mobile print service has reduced to 20 minutes however this is likely to fluctuate depending on levels of demand.

Investigations are ongoing in to the cause of this issue, which is also affecting directly connected printers.

In the meantime, if you are affected please continue to send print requests via email to mobileprint@nottingham.ac.uk or to upload them via https://mobileprint.nottingham.ac.uk .

Multiple users of the university printing service are experiencing intermittent issues accessing the new print queues on university managed Windows computers.

The workaround in the meantime is to send print requests via email to mobileprint@nottingham.ac.uk or to upload them via https://mobileprint.nottingham.ac.uk
