Please be advised that, on Saturday 12 May for approximately 8 hours Information Services will be undertaking an upgrade which will require that we shut down database servers.

This work will involve migrating key services to new server hardware, which will increase resilience and ensure future stability of services. As we undertake the upgrade, this will cause disruption to a number of University services including, but not limited to, the list of services identified below. Please do not log into these systems during this time.

The databases supporting these services will be disrupted/unavailable from 09:00 BST on 12 May for up to 8 hours (until 17:00 BST) whilst this work takes place. For further information, a detailed list of the services affected across global campuses is attached to this email.
